You have one main job as a youth baseball coach… Make them fall in love with the game! You can be the most fundamental coach, have the most experience within 50 miles of your town, but that doesn’t always turn into productive coaching. While knowledge and experience in the game is invaluable it takes more than that to coach a group a kids and have success that is going to last. 

Youth baseball coaches don’t always realize the impact they have on the kids on their team. How they can change the outlook for kids and get them to really enjoy baseball. 

Make the game fun, remember in youth baseball errors are going to happen and nobody is going to bat 1000%. Build them up and concentrate on the positive aspects of their skillsets. Don’t concentrate on what a kid can’t do, and try to put them in situations where they can have success.
